Helped me with sleep, anxiety and IBS – has made a significant difference

I have tried a few magnesium supplements in the past (including a well know expensive brand) but this has to be the one that has made the most difference.Going to give this a full review as I do also read reviews and base my purchases on what real people have experienced.Bare with….Given this 5 stars as they are also made in the UK and also has Malate and Citrate – from personal experience, I have found that when I like a supplement and re-order regularly, sometimes as they are shipped from abroad they can go ‘out of stock for a while’. I am hoping these will be available for some time as they are on my repeat order list :-)I noticed after taking for about 2 weeks. You really need to give it that long to see any noticeable difference. I started taking glycinate originally to help with sleep – I was waking up alot during the night and just never felt properly rested.I’d say within about 10-14 days I was getting to sleep faster and staying asleep (which was my personal issue). An effect I didn’t expect to notice so quickly was more regular bowel movements. I suffer from IBS and extreme constipation. I do feel that this has made a big difference for me but I am also very conscious of what I eat. They don’t zone me out or make me groggy the next day. Just seems to relax me naturally – I don’t think it’s a placebo effect as I feel the benefits in other ways. I feel a lot calmer and a bit less anxious. Seems to make sense as I have read a lot about magnesium being involved in regulating neurotransmitters (yes I do like to do my research)! For those that do to here’s a breakdown of the goodies in this little packet:Magnesium Malate: Good for energgy production, fatigue, muscle sorenessMagnesium Citrate: Mild constipation releif, magnesium replenishment, regular bowel movementsMagnesium Glycinate: Stress, Anxiety, sleep, modd balanceThe glycinate form is supposed to be more easily absorbed and it doesn;t affect my stomach at all (which has been a problem for me in the past). It’s not an overnight miracle , but I am consistent an it made a difference for me. Would definately recommend.

A Noticeable Difference to Sleep and Recovery Without the Side Effects

Started taking magnesium after reading about its role in sleep quality and muscle recovery, both areas that had been inconsistent for a while. Had tried a basic magnesium oxide supplement previously and abandoned it after a few weeks due to digestive discomfort that made daily use impractical. The glycinate, citrate and malate combination here is specifically formulated for better absorption and gentler digestion, which was the main reason for trying this version. The digestive side is considerably better. No cramping or discomfort even taken on an empty stomach, which with magnesium oxide had been an immediate problem. Taken in the evening as directed it sits without issue and has remained that way consistently throughout use.Sleep quality is where the most noticeable improvement showed up. Falling asleep felt easier within the first couple of weeks and the quality of sleep, specifically waking feeling more rested rather than just having logged the hours, improved in a way that felt meaningful rather than placebo. It’s difficult to isolate a single supplement as the cause with complete certainty but the timing correlates closely enough to feel confident attributing at least part of the improvement to this.Muscle recovery after exercise also felt slightly better, less residual soreness after harder sessions, though this was a more subtle difference than the sleep improvement and harder to measure objectively. The 1800mg complex across three forms is a thoughtful formulation. Each form has slightly different absorption characteristics and the combination covers more bases than a single source supplement would.Falls just short of five stars on value alone, it’s not the cheapest option in this category and reordering regularly adds up. But as a well formulated magnesium supplement that actually delivers without digestive compromise, it earns the repeat purchase.

    These work!!

I bought these tablets after doing some research and coming to the conclusion I needed a Magnesium booster. I suffered from night leg cramps and abdominal cramps, which were extremely painful, with rib cage soreness at night on my right-hand side that never quite went away at night.I purchased these based on the reviews. I have to say the difference these tablets have made is beyond expectations. Cramps have fallen away, and any cramps I do get are a fraction of what they were, and I expect that as I take these tablets over time, these will recede. The rib pain has disappeared. I’m astounded at this, and an ache in my top right shoulder has also eased greatly. My sleep has improved; I’m getting relaxed, sound sleep.Let’s face facts: we don’t get the minerals and vitamins from our food that maybe our ancestors took for granted. Many people suffer from aches and pains that can easily be fixed.

Can be drunk or taken as a tablet… look at packaging

I have been taking these for 2 weeks and immediately noticed the difference. As an early 40 year old, fit and active woman, my sleep was hugely disrupted and light. I was at a loss as to what to do with my sleep and someone recommended these at the gym. It’s the single, best decision I’ve made. I’ve gone from being a terribly light, disrupted sleeper; averaging 3-4 hours of broken sleep and regular 3am wakings, to a 8.5 hour sleeper with zero wake ups! The difference is incredible. My daughter who is a uni student with poor sleeping habits has also been taking them and reported after the second night “I’ve never felt so refreshed after my sleep!”They are big tablets to take but you CAN open them and drink them. (I do feel they should advertise this aspect more). They are worth every penny and are a genuinely amazing product with fantastic results. What I will add is that I have a very good night time routine and feel that this also helps. Gone are the nights of tossing and turning. It’s now falling asleep with book in hand, only to wake up in the morning having lost my page!

Good product but slightly misleading description

3/5 starsA Promising Blend with a Misleading PunchI was genuinely excited to try this Magnesium complex. The 3-in-1 blend of Glycinate, Citrate, and Malate seemed like a brilliant idea, combining the best of all worlds for relaxation, regularity, and energy. At first, the effects were noticeable. The Glycinate seemed to help with sleep, and the Citrate gave a gentle nudge to my digestive system without the usual urgency of other brands. The Malate component felt like it was contributing to a slight increase in my afternoon focus. However, my enthusiasm waned when I took a closer look at the label. The “1800mg” in the product title is a clever, but ultimately misleading, headline. A quick calculation reveals that the actual elemental magnesium is only 384mg per serving. While 384mg is a solid dose and within the recommended daily intake for most people, it’s not the massive 1800mg the title suggests. The 1800mg figure refers to the total weight of the three magnesium compounds before the magnesium is separated from its bonded molecule (glycine, citric acid, malic acid). This kind of marketing is common in the supplement world, but it feels particularly deceptive here.Furthermore, the capsules themselves are quite large. For someone who has trouble swallowing pills, this could be a major drawback. I also noticed that the blend, while well-intentioned, didn’t seem to deliver the full punch of a pure Magnesium Glycinate supplement when it came to deep relaxation. It felt more like a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none situation. In conclusion, this is not a bad product. The quality seems good, and the combination of forms is a unique selling point. However, the misleading marketing and the slightly muted effects for specific goals (like deep sleep) prevent me from giving it a higher score. If you’re looking for a general magnesium supplement and are aware of the actual elemental dosage, this could be a decent option. But if you’re seeking a specific benefit and are sensitive to marketing claims, you might want to look elsewhere.

    Reliable good quality magnesium

This brand is really good, I’ve bought other supplements from them and have nothing bad to say about them. This magnesium works really well, I take it usually 1 hour before bed to help me sleep as well as to help with my leg cramps. I’ve even noticed that if I don’t take it for a couple of days, my cramps will resurface and then immediately disappear once I start taking them again.

Well-Formulated Magnesium Supplement with Easy Daily Dosing

This magnesium supplement stands out because it combines magnesium bisglycinate, citrate, and malate in one formula rather than relying on a single source. The combination feels thoughtfully designed and offers a more balanced approach compared to many standard magnesium supplements. The capsules are easy to swallow and convenient to take daily without an unpleasant taste or strong aftertaste. The packaging feels secure and clearly labelled, making the dosage instructions straightforward to follow.I also appreciate that the formula includes multiple forms of magnesium that are commonly chosen for different absorption and digestion preferences. The container provides a generous supply, which makes it good value for long-term daily use.Overall, this is a well-presented magnesium complex with quality ingredients, convenient dosing, and a balanced formula that fits easily into a regular supplement routine.

    Very good

It really does work for me, I used to take one in the morning one in the evening because initially it upset my stomach a bit. But now I take both at night before bed and I have deep restful sleep (providing my baby also sleeps that is) I feel like I wake a bit easier than usual and I find that it has marginally helped my mood.
